Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement infection prevention programs
Analyze and interpret complex data sets to improve patient care
Manage multiple priorities and foster teamwork and collaboration
Identify system vulnerabilities and develop innovative solutions
Required Qualifications
Minimum of five years of infection prevention experience in a hospital setting
Baccalaureate degree in nursing
Current certification in Infection Prevention and Control
Current State of Texas professional nursing licensure
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in nursing
Post-graduate courses in epidemiology, infection prevention or disease control
Completion of CDC or APIC sponsored infection prevention training
