Key Responsibilities
Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs
Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach
Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care
Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions
Seek supervision and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently
Document in patients’ medical records
Required Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
New graduate RN OR less than one year of RN work experience
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification within first year of hire
Completion of an ONS Chemo/Bio Course within two years of hire if applicable
Completion of a Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC - adult) within one year of hire if applicable
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year of hire if applicable
Cancer-specific certification or ongoing education in oncology if applicable
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification within one year of hire if applicable
