Key Responsibilities
Operate CT/MRI equipment to produce images of specified areas of the body
Instruct patients in preparing for examinations and explain procedures
Monitor patients during sedation under direction of a physician
Maintain quality control of all CT/MRI procedures and related equipment
Prepare and maintain CT/MRI records and files
Communicate effectively with patients and staff
Required Qualifications
High school graduation or GED
Successful completion of an approved training program in radiologic technology
Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT and MR
Minimum six months of recent computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging experience
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to operate CT and MRI equipment
Working knowledge of CT and MRI techniques and procedures
