Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CT/MRI equipment to produce images of specified areas of the body
  • Instruct patients in preparing for examinations and explain procedures
  • Monitor patients during sedation under direction of a physician
  • Maintain quality control of all CT/MRI procedures and related equipment
  • Prepare and maintain CT/MRI records and files
  • Communicate effectively with patients and staff

Required Qualifications

  • High school graduation or GED
  • Successful completion of an approved training program in radiologic technology
  • Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT and MR
  • Minimum six months of recent computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to operate CT and MRI equipment
  • Working knowledge of CT and MRI techniques and procedures
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
