Key Responsibilities
Utilize medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced medical care
Drive the ambulance and provide map reading support
Maintain required certifications
Communicate with dispatcher for call data
Monitor and maintain the general condition of the unit
Document activities regarding patient care and billing
Follow policies on out-of-chute and turnaround times
Consider patient status and insurance for transportation
Work collaboratively with health and public safety personnel
Ability to work past scheduled shift with little or no notice
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Current state Paramedic License
Valid State Driver’s License
Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS Provider Certification
Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
Preferred Qualifications
