The acute rehabilitation RN assists individuals with disability and/or chronic illness to attain and maintain maximum function. The rehabilitation staff nurse assists clients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for clients and their familys development. The nurse designs and implements treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health. The rehabilitation nurse works in inpatient and outpatient settings that can be found in a range of acute to subacute rehabilitation facilities.

Facility Requirements:

  • Must have ID RN or multi-state compact license, must be attached to resume
  • Must have BLS certification this must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
  • Must have 2 years Acute Rehab experience in a hospital setting
