Travel Nursing Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

• End Date: January 25, 2026
• Nursing Shift: 10-hour day shifts (9:00 AM – 7:30 PM) with call requirements
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Schedule: Weekly call shifts (Monday–Friday) with two nurses and one 24-hour call shift every third weekend
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,100–$2,250

PACU Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of PACU nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Ability to participate in scheduled call rotation
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of O'Fallon, IL

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care to surgical patients
• Monitor patient recovery and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for safe patient transitions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
• Participate in call rotation as scheduled
