Job Description
Join Kaiser as a Licensed Masters Mental Health Professional in Child Psychiatry, where you'll provide critical mental health services, collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, and impact the lives of children and families in need. Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate clinical treatment programs
Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries
Collaborate with physicians regarding psychotropic medications
Utilize community resources for member treatment
Supervise Post Masters Fellows and Associate Clinical staff as needed
Report safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare from a clinical track, Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) AND Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Couples and Families Endorsement (California) within 24 months of hire
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Familiarity with DSM-V
Experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards
Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods
Knowledge of bio-psycho-social functions that contribute to mental health
Professional maturity and ethical integrity
Preferred Qualifications
Previous post license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team
Previous clinical responsibility including crisis intervention and psychotherapy
