Groundskeeper

$16.00/ Hour

Pocono Mountain Villas by Exploria Resorts

Job Summary:

Participate in all aspects necessary to be sure the Resort property is well maintained, including but not limited to Mowing, Weed-Whacking, raking, blowing leaves, daily trash removal from receptacles, and picking up trash/litter throughout the property. Employees may be required to perform duties in other closely related job functions and/or departments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Must produce work in a timely and consistent fashion.
• Must maintain a high level of accuracy and high level of accountability for this position.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• May be exposed to extremes in temperature or weather conditions.
• Must be able to work solo as well as within a group.
• Expected to project a clean appearance and a professional demeanor at all times.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, fit, and capable of heavy work.
• High school diploma
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Valid drivers license
• Experienced in the use of power tools, chainsaws, blowers, and pressure washers

Physical Demands:

• Ability to be on your feet throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis

Required Competencies:

• Good communication skills with other staff and colleagues.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Sound knowledge and use of horticultural machinery is highly recommended.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directives.
