Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Behavioral Intervention Specialist Level 1, where you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by designing and implementing effective behavior management programs. Your expertise in behavioral assessments and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will ensure top-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Management Programs
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
Develop Individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Implement crisis intervention techniques
Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations and maintain accurate records
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology
Documented training in assessment techniques and behavior support plan development
National Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BACB) or NYS license as a Behavior Analyst (LBA)
NYS license in mental health counseling
Preferred Qualifications
At least three years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior support plans
