Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and reefer units
Identify root causes of basic failures and perform necessary repairs
Ensure equipment meets licensing and registration requirements
Document work orders through the Enterprise Asset Management system
Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and battery checks
Train and provide guidance to other mechanics
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
3 - 5 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience
Experience with PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair, and refrigeration
