On Call Night Shift!
Must have CDL A or B
Tanker & Hazmat Endorsements Strongly Preferred
Must have at least 2 Years Experience in propane. Can train on oil.
Must be experienced and independent.
Compensation Details:
- Drivers starting pay from $26 to $35 per hour
SUMMARY
Drives propane or oil trucks over established routes to deliver products to commercial, residential, and industrial customers.
WORKING HOURS
- WORK HOURS - Winter Night Shift Approximately November 1st to March 1st
- The heating season On-Call Delivery Driver is scheduled to cover after-hours calls from 5:00 PM 6:00 AM.
- This position is paid 40 hours per week for this Monday Thursday night schedule.
- This position is paid 30 hours for Friday, Saturday and Sunday shift.
- There is no on-call stipend for this schedule.
- Additionally, if hours physically worked exceeds 40 hours in a pay week, the employee is to report these hours so that they can be paid at OT rate.
- Hours worked in excess of 40 per week must be documented in Paylocity
- Holidays rotating on call schedule with other drivers
- Depending on the needs of the company and winter the shift could change by a few weeks.
- WORK HOURS March 2nd to October 31st
- You will be notified of your work schedule. There are different work schedules:
- Normal work schedule is 6:30 am to 5:00 pm with a half hour lunch break 4 days per week.
- Must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays as needed and be a part of an on-call service rotation.
- End time will vary daily depending on the job. Occasionally, during our busy season, additional hours may be required to meet our business needs.
- On-call is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for efficient communication, harmonious interaction, and support of co-workers and management team members.
- Drives truck safely and delivers petroleum products to customers home or place of business in order to meet customer requirements and company productivity goals.
- Safety inspections as needed.
- Complies with company safety procedures and policies, including safe transportation of hazardous materials.
- Collects money from customers and records transactions.
- Submits sales leads for potential business.
- Records detailed delivery information on route cards and fills out paperwork correctly.
- Attends seminars, training classes, and delivery meetings sponsored by company.
- Pays close attention to delivery instructions and carries out any specific requests by dispatch or on tickets.
- Leaves delivery slip at time of delivery with customer unless the bill to address is different, ticket requires special pricing, or it states to specifically leave the slip.
- Cleans inside and outside of truck on a routine basis.
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspection before each shift and as required by law as well as routine maintenance on truck.
- Communicates with the office to exchange information as needed.
- Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Works the hours and days assigned.
- Assists in performing tasks of other personnel within the department as needed.
- Proficient in the use of electronic devices.
- If you have another job, you can only work up to 60 hours (following DOT regulations). You must keep a driver log.
- Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have CDL
- Tanker & Hazmat Endorsements Preferred
- Must have at least 2 Years Experience in propane. Can train on oil.
- Must be experienced and independent.
- Must have and maintain a safe driving record.
- Must have a medical examiners certificate.
- Must comply with DOT regulations.
- Must be 21 years of age or above.

- Must be able to reach and complete connection to the top of a propane tank and read the gauge, operate the bleeder valve, and connect the hose to the fill.
