Job Description
Join ABM Industries as a Senior CMMS Planner & Scheduler, where you'll lead the maintenance planning process in a GMP-regulated environment. Utilize your expertise in CMMS platforms to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the CMMS platform used to manage work orders, PMs, and assets
Develop, schedule, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance plans
Coordinate maintenance schedules across multi-disciplinary teams
Ensure all maintenance work is planned with labor, parts, permits, safety procedures, and GMP documentation
Maintain CMMS data integrity
Analyze CMMS performance data and maintenance KPIs
Collaborate with EHS, Quality, and Operations teams
Support planning and execution of major shutdowns and capital improvement projects
Develop and refine job plans, maintenance strategies, and asset lifecycle management programs
Provide CMMS training and guidance to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Life Sciences, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning/scheduling within a GMP-regulated life science, pharmaceutical, or biotech facility
Deep experience with CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo, SAP, Blue Mountain, eMaint) and maintenance best practices
Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, EMEA, and ISO standards
Proficient in maintenance planning tools, reporting dashboards, and Excel/Power BI
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
CMMS Platform Certifications (e.g., IBM Maximo, SAP PM)
