Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with business unit leadership
Lead business planning processes to establish compensation priorities
Provide guidance on organizational structure and reorganizations
Conduct job and salary analyses and recommend salary assignments
Design and document jobs and conduct training on programs
Develop and recommend enhancements to operational processes
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Mentor less experienced staff
Manage diverse projects and prepare analytical reports
Required Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of compensation principles, practices and techniques
Advanced knowledge of laws and regulations affecting compensation practices
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Extensive experience in managing multiple priorities
Significant experience in independently managing projects
Extensive experience in handling confidential situations
Experience in analyzing and administering job, market, and salary evaluation programs
Expert communication skills
Expert organizational, planning, and time management skills
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Navy Federal's functions and operations
Experience with mergers/acquisitions
Previous consulting experience in an HR-related firm
CCP certification
