ER RN Job Details – Englewood, Ohio

• Location: Englewood, Ohio (zip: 45415) – Greater Dayton area
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1630 - $1750
• Setting: Emergency Department (26 rooms, average 130 visits/day)
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state RN license
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI/AVADE/CalmEveryStorm, NIHSS
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting system
• Ability to float to other nursing units (main and south campuses)
• Available to work every other weekend and holiday
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• No previous nursing license action

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
• Perform triage, assessment, and emergency treatment for a wide range of medical conditions
• Manage and monitor arterial lines, central lines, ventilated patients, and perform phlebotomy
• Administer blood products, medications, and procedural sedation
• Interpret arterial blood gases and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Provide emergency care for trauma, stroke, STEMI, and pediatric patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
• Support the nursing care team when floating to other clinical units
