Job Description Job Title: Purchasing Specialist Schedule: Full-time Department: Finance Reports To: Finance Director The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, receiving, and organizing materials, equipment, and facility supplies to support both field operations and internal office needs. This role ensures that project teams have timely access to materials and that essential supplies for facilities are well-stocked and efficiently managed. Duties include managing vendor relationships, tracking orders, staging materials for upcoming jobs, and maintaining inventory levels for both operational and facility-related items. Source and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies in line with project and operational needs Assist in negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to ensure best value and quality Work closely with project managers, field teams, and finance to forecast material needs and budgets Monitor inventory levels and support restocking processes Ensure vendor compliance with quality, delivery, and service standards Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing processes Assist in building procurement procedures and systems that support company growth 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management ~ Knowledge of inventory systems and basic cost analysis ~ Proficient with Google Office, purchase order systems, and vendor portals ~ Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple requestsExperience in construction, maintenance, facilities, or service-based industries is a plus ~ High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Cross-functional exposure to operations, field services, and finance Competitive pay, benefits, paid time off, and potential for performance-based incentives We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
