Job Details – Pediatric OR RN Travel Nursing Assignment

• Location: Morgantown, WV 26506 (West Virginia pediatric nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Pediatric Operating Room (Acute Care)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Evening); 3 shifts per week, at least 2 consecutive; 1-2 call shifts per week; rotational weekend and afternoon coverage
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: February 23, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,120 - $2,270
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrubs: Provided
• Orientation: 2 days with checklist completion

Qualifications – Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (open to candidates awaiting West Virginia licensure)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience (pediatric OR experience preferred)
• Ability to float to additional pediatric units as needed
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes for call shifts
• Willingness to work rotational weekends, holidays, and standby shifts
• Scrubbing experience preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities – Pediatric OR RN Travel Nurse

• Assist in pediatric surgical procedures including tonsillectomies, hypospadias repairs, craniotomies, cardiac, and orthopedic cases
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients in the operating room
• Serve as Charge RN during midnight shifts as needed
• Participate in mandatory standby and call coverage
• Float to designated pediatric units (5N/1W & Children's) as required
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health record system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
