CarShield is seeking a Level 1 IT Technician to join its growing Tech Support team. This position will be responsible for general assistance with a side range of IT issues, including computers, thin clients, phones, active directory, etc. Successful candidates will possess a good foundation of general computer knowledge, some experience with troubleshooting, and good people and communication skills.
Reporting to the IT Tech Support Manager, this position is responsible for:
Assisting with maintenance and service of IT equipment Troubleshooting computers, phones, headsets and other peripherals Acts as a liaison between the IT department and other departments throughout the organization Other general tasks as assigned Requirements:
Requirements for Level 1 IT Technician:
2-3 years experience in a Help Desk environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Workspace, incident management and collaboration tools Experienced in computer hardware, installation, maintenance and repair Experienced in computer troubleshooting Ability to develop and maintain relationships with all employees, regardless of level Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and to manage time effectively
