Nurse Manager – Off-Shift Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clinical supervision for all nursing departments during off-shift hours.
- Coordinate nursing resources to ensure appropriate staffing and coverage hospital-wide.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for staff, physicians, and families during off-shift operations.
- Oversee patient flow, including admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Promote adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Ensure effective communication between departments and the nursing administration.
- Support staff in resolving patient care and operational issues promptly.
- Participate in safety rounds and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Minimum Experience: 1+ year of experience in a Nurse Manager or similar leadership role
Travel Experience: Required
Licensure: Active Massachusetts RN license
Certifications Required: AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
EMR Experience: EPIC required
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
