MRI Technologist (Contract)  

Location: Seneca, SC 29672 

Start Date: December 1, 2025 

Duration: 13 weeks 

Shift: Mid Shift, 5x8-hour evenings (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

About the Opportunity  

A large health chain is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Seneca, South Carolina. This role supports a high-acuity environment and requires advanced imaging skills across multiple care settings. Candidates must be comfortable with evening shifts and on-call responsibilities, including nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures for adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and emergency/trauma patients
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and workflow
• Adhere to safety protocols and Prisma Health’s floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in acute care settings
• ARRT (MR) certification and BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of experience using EPIC EMR
• Must be comfortable with floating to other qualified units or campuses as needed
• No first-time travelers accepted for this assignment

• Call required: includes nights and weekends
• Floating may occur based on census needs, but only to units where competencies are documented
• Candidates must be able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment
