Job Description

Join our team as an Audiologist in Leesville, LA, where you'll provide critical audiology services to military service members. Your expertise will help assess hearing issues related to military service, ensuring that those who served our country receive the best care possible.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and interpret tests to determine hearing impairment
Evaluate test results and medical records to assess hearing loss
Conduct otoscopic examinations and manage cerumen
Lead training for staff on audiology skills
Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
Travel up to 50% for audiology examinations

Required Qualifications

Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au. D)
5+ years of clinical practice experience
Currently licensed Audiologist in state employed
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification
Must pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Compensation and Pension Examination
Experience with hearing conservation programs/noise conservation programs
