Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

Operating Room RN – Adult & Pediatric | Travel Contract
Shift: 10-Hour Days with Call
Holiday Requirement: One Major Holiday
Start Date: Pending document deadline (Monday prior to start)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to join a high-performing surgical team that serves both adult and pediatric populations. This facility offers a wide range of surgical services, including:

• ENT, General, Vascular, Endovascular
• Robotics, Dental, GYN
• Orthopedics, Spine, Neurosurgery

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of OR experience
  • Pediatric OR experience required
  • Prior travel experience highly preferred
• Certifications:
  • BLS required
  • CNOR preferred
• Education:
  • Degree must be from an accredited program and listed on the profile
  • Alternatively, 5+ years of OR experience if degree is not listed
• EMR: Epic

Additional Details:

• Call Requirement:
  • Average of 4 calls per month
  • Must discuss call expectations with the manager during the interview
• Floating:
  • Travelers are the first to float
  • May float to sister campuses as needed
• Radius Rule:
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel
