Join Kaiser as a Chemical Dependency Recovery Counselor III, where you will provide essential therapeutic services to individuals and families affected by addiction. You will utilize your expertise to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer both individual and group counseling, making a significant impact on patient recovery journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Answers and triages patient calls for information, treatment services, and general chemical dependency advice.
Provides higher-level assessments including emotional and family dysfunction evaluations.
Performs intake and psychosocial assessments.
Develops and presents treatment plans to the treatment team.
Participates in clinical case conferences.
Conducts chemical dependency-focused educational lectures.
Provides individual and group counseling services.
Delivers therapy for adolescents, significant others, families, and multi-family groups.
Offers case management services including resource and referral coordination.
Mentors CDRP/S Counselors I and II, student interns, and licensure candidates.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years post graduate relevant supervised addiction medicine therapy experience within the last five (5) years
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California)
