As a Behavioral Health Specialist I at UCHealth, you will support patients with behavioral health needs in a safe and therapeutic environment. Work collaboratively with a care team to monitor patient progress and implement care plans while ensuring a supportive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment in collaboration with care team
Monitor and document patient's coping mechanisms and provide crisis intervention
Provide input and recommendations for developing and carrying out the plan of care
Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines
Utilize critical thinking skills and take appropriate action in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
1 year of related Behavioral Health experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health related field
