Key Responsibilities
Adjust complex auto bodily injury claims and small business claims
Investigate loss details and determine legal liability
Evaluate, negotiate, and adjudicate claims
Manage assigned claims workload and provide status updates
Collaborate with team members and vendors for claims resolution
Deliver best-in-class member service
Support catastrophe response operations as needed
Ensure compliance with risk and compliance policies
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
4 years auto claims and injury adjusting experience
Advanced knowledge of auto claims contract and regulations
Advanced negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Strong time-management and decision-making skills
Investigatory, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
Ability to exercise financial judgment and discretion
Knowledge of coverage evaluation, loss assessment, and reserving
Insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of catastrophic injury experience
Experience handling UM/UIM injury claims
College Degree (Bachelor’s or higher)
