Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles
  • Conduct major and minor repairs with little supervision
  • Perform road tests to diagnose problems
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Use Penske's tools and technologies for diagnostics and repairs
  • Participate in technician training and skill development

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair
  • Specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components
  • OEM training courses
  • ASE Certification
  • 608/609 certifications
