Key Responsibilities
Perform various diagnostic imaging examinations of patients
Assist physician in administering opaque media
Develop film by automatic processing and utilize PACS System
Maintain adequate records and assist in rooming of patients
Assist in the training of students and ancillary personnel
Perform general diagnostic and routine fluoroscopic duties
Practice sterile techniques and maintain cleanliness and orderliness
Produce radiographs, position and transfer patients
Provide protection in accordance with radiation safety standards
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification
Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the State of California Department of Health Services within six months of hire
Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification
Valid certificate as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California Department of Public Health
Preferred Qualifications
Mammography certification (if mammographic examinations are performed)
