Job Description
Join Desert Regional Medical Center as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and be part of a compassionate team providing essential nuclear imaging services. You will administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment, contributing to quality patient care while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nuclear imaging services to patients
Administer Radiopharmaceuticals
Operate imaging equipment and develop film/images
Participate in quality control procedures
Maintain patient documentation and records for NRC and state agencies
Communicate with physicians to implant and modify protocols
Monitor Technologists and maintain an efficient work environment
Help maintain department budget goals
Ensure radiation safety
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an AMA approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
National certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Current Certification with the State of California (CRT)
Completion of at least two years of college level academic credits in physical sciences or comparable education
Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
