Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standards
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on the patient’s symptoms and medical status
Treats patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques
Educates patients/families in home exercise programs
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines
Supervises affiliated students and attends continuing education courses
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic personal computer skills in Windows based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
Access to reliable transportation to travel between multiple work sites
