* Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a *Mohs Histotechnologist* to work with our team*.*
*Previous experience as a Histotechnologist or Histotechnician, with experience in processing dermatological specimens
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of all technical aspects in the areas of histology and pathology, laboratory techniques, and quality control
* Ability to embed, cut, stain, and mount tissue specimens following established policies and procedures and laboratory standards.
* Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with superiors, peers, physicians, and others
* Strong organizational and computer skills
*Histotechnologist (HTL, ASCP) or Histotechnician (HT, ASCP) certification is preferred.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related field acceptable if not certified.
*Prior dermatology experience is preferred.
* Prior experience working in a Mohs clinic is required.
* Quality written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to demonstrate compassion and caring when dealing with others, patients, and co-workers.

*Physical Requirements: *Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator; Includes handling of sharps and chemicals.
