As an Operations Training Instructor at Constellation Energy, you will lead the development and implementation of nuclear operations training programs, contributing to a carbon-free future. With a focus on performance improvement and regulatory compliance, you'll play a crucial role in training personnel to meet industry standards and excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities
Drive station and personnel performance improvement through training
Coordinate and conduct performance-based operations training programs
Maintain training programs current with regulatory changes and reports
Prepare trainee examinations and conduct evaluations
Support business initiatives and special projects
Participate in audits and prepare responses
Supervise training records and report maintenance
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree in science/engineering or education/training and 4+ years related industry experience
6+ years of related industry experience/technical background
Bachelor’s degree in education/Training and 2 years’ teaching experience
Previous or current senior reactor operator license
Previous Reactor Operator (RO) WITH 4+ years of related industry experience
SRO Certification WITH 4+ years of related industry experience AND 6 months of proven teaching in Licensed Operator Requal Training (LORT) or Initial License Trainee (ILT)
Effective written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering or education/training
6 years of commercial nuclear power plant training experience
Previous or current senior reactor operator license
An SRO Certification WITH 6+ years of related industry experience AND 6 months of proven teaching in Licensed Operator Requal Training (LORT) or Initial License Trainee (ILT)
