Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel ICU Registered Nurse for a 14-week assignment in Lexington, KY. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and monitor critically ill patients
Administer complex medications and treatments
Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments
Record significant conditions and notify providers of changes
Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring
Document assessments and interventions in medical records
Provide education to patients and families about ICU treatments
Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Adhere to strict infection control protocols
Engage in quality improvement initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
Preferred Qualifications
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
TNCC, NIHSS certification
Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
