Job Description

Join DMC Receiving Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced, impactful environment. You will perform essential diagnostic exams, educate patients and staff, and contribute to improving care standards at Michigan’s first Level I Trauma Center.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment
Verify patient identity and review patient's medical record
Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history
Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits
Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images
Review images and communicate data to radiologist
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
Provide physician-prescribed post care instructions
Participate in process improvement activities
Provide imaging education to residents and new employees
Take call/standby as required

Required Qualifications

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training by end of orientation period
