Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) of Submarine Warfare (SW) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) platforms and sensors
  • Work with analysis teams to assess measures of performance and effectiveness for SW and ASW systems
  • Interact with DoD and Navy staff to facilitate task execution and work prioritization
  • Brief the sponsor or DoD command staff on insights and participate in field tests or sea trials

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ten or more years of relevant SW/ASW operational and technical experience
  • Submarine warfare qualified
  • Served as a high-ranking officer on a US submarine
  • Strong analytical, operational, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Willing and able to travel
  • Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research or relevant technical field
  • Served as a Commanding Officer on a US submarine
  • Experience on a US SSBN or on the staff of an operational Navy Task Force
  • Experience working with the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) N97
  • Understanding of features and patterns in data
  • Established a roadmap for the Navy
  • Current Top Secret or higher level security clearance
  • Understanding of potential adversary defensive and offensive capabilities
