Key Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) of Submarine Warfare (SW) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) platforms and sensors
Work with analysis teams to assess measures of performance and effectiveness for SW and ASW systems
Interact with DoD and Navy staff to facilitate task execution and work prioritization
Brief the sponsor or DoD command staff on insights and participate in field tests or sea trials
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Ten or more years of relevant SW/ASW operational and technical experience
Submarine warfare qualified
Served as a high-ranking officer on a US submarine
Strong analytical, operational, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Willing and able to travel
Active Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research or relevant technical field
Served as a Commanding Officer on a US submarine
Experience on a US SSBN or on the staff of an operational Navy Task Force
Experience working with the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) N97
Understanding of features and patterns in data
Established a roadmap for the Navy
Current Top Secret or higher level security clearance
Understanding of potential adversary defensive and offensive capabilities
