• All PPW Due: Wednesday at 12:00 PM MST the week before start
• Permanent Address Requirement: Must be at least 25 miles from the facility

• Number of Suites: 9
• Average Cases Per Day: ~30
• EMR System: Epic
• Traveler Friendly: Yes
• Unit Orientation: 2 weeks with a preceptor

• Required:
  • BLS
  • TNCC or ACLS
  • CNOR
  • RN license compact/wy

? Skills & Experience Needed

• Strong versatility in:
  • Da Vinci robotics
  • Total joints
  • General surgery
• Preferred: Some experience in vascular surgery
• Scrubbing for RNs: Preferred if experienced

? Common Surgical Cases

• Neuro:
  • Cranis, burr holes, spinal cord stimulators, kyphoplasties
• Orthopedic:
  • ORIF, joint replacements (knee, hip, some shoulder)
  • Mako-assisted ortho procedures
• Vascular
• Open Heart
• GYN, GU, ENT
• Robotic Surgeries:
  • Da Vinci, Mazor
• Pediatrics: None

?‍⚕️ Staffing Structure

• Charge Nurse: Present
• OR Techs: Surgical Technologists
• Floating: None
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided by facility

? Shifts & Scheduling

• Shifts: 8, 10, or 12 hours
• Flexible with hours
• Example: 10-hour shift = 0700–1730
• Some variable shifts: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Self-scheduling / Block scheduling: Not specified (ask during interview)

? Call Requirements

• Weeknight/Monthly Call:
  • 7–10 call shifts per month
  • Includes 1 full weekend (Saturday + Sunday 24-hr call)
• Holiday Call: Required
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
