Join Gardens Nursing and Rehab Center as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) and oversee dietary operations with expertise. You'll ensure compliance with regulations and promote excellence in nutritional services, making a real impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement menus that meet nutritional needs of patients/residents
Order, receive, and store food in compliance with regulations
Ensure food is prepared using safe and sanitary methods
Monitor and organize kitchen operations, including cleaning and maintenance
Manage departmental budgets and analyze food costs
Supervise and train staff on food handling and sanitation procedures
Maintain accurate meal counts and food cost reports
Interact with patients/residents and families regarding dietary needs
Develop policies and procedures for the dietary department
Required Qualifications
Graduate of Dietary Manager’s Program or 2-yr/4-yr foodservice program
Successful completion of CDM Credentialing Exam with active certification status
2 years experience in foodservice management
Valid Florida Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with electronic charting such as Point Click Care (PCC)
Familiarity with state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations
