Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Social Worker, where you'll provide vital clinical services to individuals and families in a diverse community. Utilize a trauma-informed approach to help clients develop skills and resilience while addressing mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychosocial assessments
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and family members
Provide individual, group, family, and crisis services/interventions
Liaise with families, schools, and community agencies to coordinate care
Participate in clinical meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and supervision
Maintain documentation according to established standards
Uphold professional behaviors and ethical standards
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work from an accredited program
New York State License or limited permit in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT), or social work (LMSW)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience treating children or adolescents
Fluency in a second language
