Key Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate medical management, quality improvement, and credentialing functions
Provide medical leadership for utilization management and cost containment
Perform medical review activities for utilization review and quality assurance
Collaborate with clinical teams and provider networks
Develop and implement physician education on clinical issues and policies
Conduct rounds to assess care for high-risk patients
Identify and evaluate trends in utilization of medical services
Required Qualifications
Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy
Board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Current Washington state medical license without restrictions
Preferred Qualifications
Utilization Management experience
Knowledge of quality accreditation standards
Experience treating or managing care for a culturally diverse population
Course work in Health Administration, Health Financing, Insurance, and/or Personnel Management
