Join Crash Champions as an Auto Body Technician, where you can make a significant impact in the fast-growing collision repair industry. You will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, planning repairs, and ensuring high-quality workmanship while leading a small team.
Key Responsibilities
Examine damaged vehicle and efficiently plan repair process
Communicate with others on vehicle repair status
Perform quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind
Make decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time
Remove upholstery, accessories, and trim to gain access to vehicle
Participate in all required safety meetings
File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools
Direct the work of an apprentice when needed
Required Qualifications
Ability to use frame machine
Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
I-CAR welding certified
Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
Ability to supervise repair personnel
Must be able to pass thorough background check
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in body repair
