Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy automated systems and digital workflows
Program and develop automated laboratory systems
Build mechanistic, hybrid, and data-driven modeling solutions
Assist in the development of digital twins for processes
Present technical information to project teams and document work
Required Qualifications
PhD in chemical engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in industry or academia
Strong skills in programming languages such as Python/Matlab/C#/Visual Basic
Experience with crystallization modeling and simulation tools (e.g., gPROMS)
Experience in designing and implementing automated laboratory processes
Ability to translate mathematical models into computer programs
Teamwork skills in pharmaceutical development
Change agent mentality for novel approaches to scientific questions
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with laboratory analytical measurement instruments
Domain knowledge in small molecule process development
Knowledge in Multivariate Analysis, chemometrics and statistics
Experience in the development and scale-up of continuous processes
