Travel RN Opportunity – Med Surg
Location: Columbia, MO
Shift: 12 Hrs – Nights
Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension)
Hours per Week: 36/48

Pay Packages:

• Total Taxable Pay (weekly) - $1008/-
• Total Non-taxable Pay (weekly) - $1246/-
• Gross Total Pay (weekly) - $2254/-

Requirements:

• 2+ years Med Surg experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
• Prior Travel RN experience mandatory
• Must be comfortable handling up to 8 patients
• Floating to other Med Surg units as needed
• No LTC experience accepted – must have recent acute care Med Surg in medium to large hospitals

Unit Details:

• 32-bed fast-paced Ortho/Med Surg unit
• Patient Age: Adults & Geriatrics
• Rotating every 3rd weekend
• Common Cases: Total joint replacements (knee, hip, shoulder, ankle), spine surgeries (XLIF, ALIF, ACDF, PCDF, laminectomies, microdisc), fracture repairs

Skills & Equipment:

• Required: IV Insertion
• Preferred: PICC/Central Line Mgmt, Wound Vac, Feeding Tubes, Traction, CPM, PCA/Epidural pumps, Remote Tele & Tele Interpretation, CPAP/BiPAP
• Equipment: Ice wraps, Polar coolers
• Medications: Pain meds, Antibiotics, Anticoagulants, Antiemetics, Steroids
