Position Details

- Shift Times: 12-hour shifts; 3:00 PM–3:30 AM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. Must be available for either shift as needed.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend; holiday coverage required if needed
- On-Call Requirements: None
Job Description
- Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantees are not available for this assignment.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required (dose date on or after October 3, 2023). Exemption forms must be signed by a provider or religious leader. Approved exemptions require masking at all times on site.
- Travelers must work two of the following holiday periods:
- Thanksgiving and the following weekend
- Christmas Eve/Day and the following weekend
- New Year’s Eve/Day and the following weekend
- Extensions ending in November or before the December holiday period will not be considered for continuation into 2026.
- Facility will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the hospital. Permanent address must be included in the profile.
- Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable.
- Travelers are expected to have their own vehicle.
Submission Requirements
- Agency Requirement: Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License must be uploaded with submission. More info
- Interview Availability: At least two specific dates/times must be listed in the profile. “Anytime” will not be accepted.
- Requested Time Off (RTO): Must be submitted with profile. No more than 5 days will be accepted. RTO requests after submission will not be approved.
- Certifications Required (must be in hand at submission):
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- TNCC
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience
- Completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course (strongly preferred)
- Meditech Expanse experience (strongly preferred)

- Work history
- Skills checklist (current within 1 year)
- One supervisory reference (signed, from the past 2 years)
- MA RN license (must be active and uploaded)
