Key Responsibilities
Hires, trains, coaches, and motivates employee team members
Directs and monitors the operations of the department
Schedules people, materials, and equipment
Prepares and issues performance evaluations
Promotes safe work habits
Facilitates the development and implementation of departmental goals and objectives
Required Qualifications
Considerable knowledge of process operations and practices
Considerable knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
Strong ability to analyze and solve production problems
Ability to lead and coach employees
Good English verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills required
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
Bilingual skills
Intermediate computer skills (spreadsheet and word processing)
Conflict management skills
Good organizational skills
