Medical Laboratory Technologist – Microbiology Focus (1st Shift)

Job Responsibilities
- Perform assigned lab analyses and report results per department procedures and regulations
- Maintain quality control standards and follow established protocols
- Perform routine equipment maintenance per instructions and schedule
- Correlate lab results with clinical findings through chart reviews and consultation with medical/nursing staff
- Perform receptionist and phlebotomist tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal laws, regulations, and healthcare policies
Specialty Requirements
- Role is for a Medical Lab Technologist with a specialty in Microbiology
- Must have strong skills in reading plates
- Generalist duties included, but focus area must be Microbiology
- Off-shift micro experience is NOT sufficient — must be fully capable in microbiology during core hours
