About The Position

RN - Progressive Care / Stepdown

• Location: Rock Island, IL
• Start Date: 7/21/2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 48 hrs/week preferred (can accommodate 36 hrs/week if desired)
• Weekends: Every other weekend, including holiday rotation
• On Call: None

• EMR: Epic

Unit Details:

• ratio (Nights): 1:5-6
• 48 total beds (average 35 Stepdown-level)
• Care Types:
  • Post-open heart (after 24 hrs in ICU)
  • TAVRs, Watchman procedures
  • Cardiac drips, sheaths, TEE, cardioversions
  • Mix of Cardiac Stepdown and Med/Surg
  • Some stroke care

Submission Requirements:

• 2+ years current PCU, Cardiac/Tele, or Stepdown experience required

• Strong cardiac skillset and care

Certifications Required:

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
