William Charles Construction is seeking a Project Manager for our High Voltage Group to oversee electrical construction projects in the clean energy sector. This role involves managing projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget while traveling up to 75% of the time across the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Establish site specific safety requirements
Develop Project Execution Plan
Monitor financials including cost and revenue projections
Manage procurement of materials and subcontracts
Submit monthly cost projections
Conduct pre-construction planning
Review and procure permits or licensing
Maintain project documentation
Communicate with contracting parties and owner’s representatives
Complete project closeout
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required
3 to 5 years of Medium/High Voltage substation and transmission line construction experience for Project Manager I
5+ years of Medium/High Voltage substation and transmission line construction experience for Project Manager II
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
