Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Social Worker, where you'll provide impactful mental health services in a community-oriented outpatient clinic. Use your skills to conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and support individuals and families in enhancing their mental well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychosocial assessments
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and family members
Provide individual, group, family, collateral treatment and crisis services/interventions
Liaise with families, schools, criminal justice, and other community agencies to coordinate care
Maintain documentation according to established standards
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work from an accredited program
New York State License or limited permit in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT), or social work (LMSW)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience treating children or adolescents
Fluency in a second language
