Lincoln Electric seeks a Designer/Drafter to support Plant Engineering by implementing capital projects and providing engineering support through 3D modeling and 2D drafting. This role requires collaboration with various departments to develop and modify designs while ensuring adherence to engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers in the creation/modification of 3D models and manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Assume additional responsibilities to support department goals
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Education or GED
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Technically proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM)
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic computer literacy
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Exposed to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Highly motivated to quickly learn 3D CAD drafting
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
Organized and detail oriented
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
