Key Responsibilities
Lead UTA’s insurance and claims programs
Manage risk, protect public assets, and ensure organizational resilience
Navigate regulatory challenges and control financial exposure
Report to executive leadership and the board
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
7-10 years of experience in financial risk management, insurance, or a related field
Proven experience in developing and implementing financial risk management frameworks
Experience managing comprehensive insurance programs and handling claims and litigation
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree
Professional certifications such as CRM, CPCU, ARM, or CIC
Experience in the transit industry or a related field
