Key Responsibilities

  • Lead UTA’s insurance and claims programs
  • Manage risk, protect public assets, and ensure organizational resilience
  • Navigate regulatory challenges and control financial exposure
  • Report to executive leadership and the board

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial risk management, insurance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing financial risk management frameworks
  • Experience managing comprehensive insurance programs and handling claims and litigation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Professional certifications such as CRM, CPCU, ARM, or CIC
  • Experience in the transit industry or a related field
