Orthopedic/Spine Trained RN - 10H Rotating Shifts
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic/Spine trained RN who is skilled in scrubbing and circulating for orthopedic procedures, including shoulders, total joints, and spine surgeries. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and on-call duties, to meet the needs of the unit and ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for orthopedic and spine cases.
- Participate in weekend on-call shifts as required.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Document all surgical procedures in accordance with facility protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical unit.
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma center within the last year is required.
- EPIC experience from the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
- Must provide skills checklists for both circulating and scrubbing.
- Strong experience required in General OR, with skills in orthopedic, URO, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, CVT, and trauma.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Location
Travel is required, and reliable transportation is essential as public transport is not accessible in the area.
Schedule
This position involves 10-hour rotating shifts with weekend commitments and on-call responsibilities.
