Job Description
Join the ASPCA as the Director of Mobile Veterinary Services, leading a dynamic team delivering essential veterinary care to underserved communities. You'll manage operations, ensure high-quality care, and foster a culture of respect and teamwork, making a significant impact on the lives of pets and their owners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a high-performing team overseeing client experience, logistics, medicine, and nursing
Ensure high-quality patient care and client experience
Oversee financial and administrative health of the mobile veterinary services program
Monitor compliance with safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment
Develop and publish the mobile veterinary services schedule
Foster open communication and a culture of respect and teamwork
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years managing direct reports
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven history of building and maintaining positive relationships
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work with animals that are behaviorally and/or medically compromised
Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one
Ability to synthesize information and communicate key messages
Preferred Qualifications
California Veterinary Technician license
Bilingual (fluent in Spanish)
Experience supervising manager-level employees
Experience in Veterinary Technology, Business, Logistics, or related fields
